Your article on Merrick Baker-Bates (“A Busy Briton, Indeed,” Oct. 30) might have indicated that the British consul general lives in not just a 1920s-era Hancock Park home but in a Wallace Neff original that was bought years ago by a foresighted British government. Neff, known as the architect to Hollywood stars, produced an house that is the jewel of the neighborhood and has an enduring quality immediately apparent.
