Carter Gets Audubon Medal

FT. MYERS, Fla. —
Former President Jimmy Carter has received the National Audubon Society’s Audubon Medal for his work protecting the environment. Peter Berle, president of the society, said Sunday night that Carter was responsible for more protection of land than any other U.S. President.
