AT&T; Agrees to Buy ImagiNation Network: The company said it signed an agreement to buy the computer on-line service from Sierra On-Line Inc. and General Atlantic Partners for $40 million. AT&T; already owns 20% of ImagiNation. The service will become a wholly owned subsidiary of AT&T; Corp. The nation’s No. 1 long-distance company also said it entered into a contract under which Sierra On-Line will supply interactive programming to ImagiNation Network.
