CoCensys Posts $4.1-Million Quarterly Loss

CoCensys Inc., the Irvine pharmaceutical company, reported a third-quarter loss of $4.1 million, or 30 cents a share, for the quarter ended Sept. 30. For the same quarter last year, the company recorded a loss of $2.6 million or 28 cents a share.

The company reported revenues of $1.6 million, up from no revenue during the 1993 third quarter. Nine-month losses totaled $24.8 million, or $2.31 a share, compared with losses of $7.3 million, or 84 cents a share, for the first nine months of 1993. Revenue for the first nine months totaled $1.6 million, up from no revenues in the first nine months of 1993.
