BREA : Rose Bowl, Cruise of Lights Trips Offered

The city Community Services Department is accepting sign-ups for holiday excursions to the 32nd annual Cruise of Lights in Huntington Harbour and the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena.

The harbor cruise will include dinner and bus transportation at a cost of $39 for people who live or work in Brea, and $44 for others. The bus is scheduled to leave the Brea Civic & Cultural Center at 4 p.m. Dec. 17, and return at 10 p.m.

A trip to the Tournament of Roses Parade will leave Brea at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 2. The parade is being held on Jan. 2 instead of New Year’s Day because the Rose Bowl college football game is not played on Sundays, when most of the pro games are played.

Cost of the trip is $47 for people who live or work in Brea, and $52 for others. The price includes reserved seating at the parade and a continental breakfast prior to departure.
