WEST ADAMS : Luncheon to Benefit Seniors’ Services
The city Housing Authority’s Resident Relations Department will host its annual holiday season luncheon Wednesday at Independent Square’s Social Hall.
Proceeds will benefit the Golden Steppers Senior Citizen Assn., a volunteer organization that provides activities and services to seniors citizens in public housing.
The luncheon will include drawings for turkeys, door prizes and food baskets. Guests of honor include several World War II veterans who are residents of public housing.
Donation for the 11:30 a.m. luncheon at 2455 S. St. Andrew’s Place is $3.50. Information and reservations: (213) 731-9441.
