FULLERTON : Volunteers Needed for ‘First Night’ Party
Volunteers are being sought to help present the fourth annual “First Night Fullerton,” a New Year’s Eve celebration downtown.
More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the party, which features live entertainment, a fireworks show and children’s activities.
It will run from 7 p.m. to midnight.
More than 100 cities throughout the country and Canada present “First Night” celebrations in an effort to broaden public appreciation of visual and performing arts while offering a no-alcohol, family-oriented atmosphere.
Volunteers are needed to sell admission buttons, serve as hosts and staff information booths from 6 to 11:45 p.m, city officials said.
Those interested are asked to call (714) 738-5357.
