Ah, Christmas in Orange County.
Holiday lights twinkle, malls are jammed with shoppers and that vacant lot on the corner has become a Christmas tree emporium.
But the county agricultural commissioner’s office has some news to interrupt the holiday mood: Christmas tree production in Orange County has declined steadily over the past five years.

Today
Attention bargain book hunters. Ocean View High School Entertainment Corps and Boosters are having a book sale at the northeast corner of Springdale Street and Edinger Avenue.
Proceeds from the book sale will go to the Entertainment Corps, which supports student programs.
There will be books for all ages and interests.
The sale will be inside a colorful tent from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. It will continue Thursday and Friday
