CYPRESS : College Plans Annual Achievement Awards

Cypress College has announced that it will hold its 20th annual Americana Awards Dinner on Feb. 25 in the Grand Ballroom of the Disneyland Hotel.
The community college honors an “Americana Man and Woman of the Year” based on their records of achievement and public service.
The dinner also honors one person each from the communities served by Cypress College: Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, Garden Grove, La Palma, Los Alamitos/Rossmoor/Seal Beach and Stanton.
Phil Wendel, division manager of human resources for the Yamaha Motor Corp., is chairman of the executive committee in charge of the 1995 Americana Awards Dinner.
