SOUTH GATE : City Collecting Food for Needy Families

The city is conducting its annual Christmas Food Drive through Wednesday.
City employees will donate canned foods, dairy products and dry goods that will be used to assemble food baskets. City staff members deliver the food baskets to needy families in South Gate. To qualify, residents must sign up with local churches.
