LOUIS JOURDAN, who played the romantic lead in dozens of films including “Gigi”(1958) and “Three Coins in the Fountain”(1954), and his wife, Quique, have put their Beverly Hills-area home on the market at just under $1.4 million.

They plan to move back to their native France. “They miss Europe,” a source said.

Their home was described as “a villa with a magical garden that is breathtaking at night, the way it is lit.” It has three bedrooms and a maid’s quarters in 3,000 square feet. Built in the 1960s, the house was remodeled after the couple bought it in the early 1980s.

The actor, 78, played a diabolical food critic who poisons a restaurant owner on a “Columbo” episode that aired on A&E; last March.

Pop singer-songwriter JACKIE DeSHANNON and her husband, film composer RANDY EDELMAN, have purchased the Beverly Hills home of producer CAROLE ISENBERG and her husband, JERRY, CEO of Hearst Entertainment Productions. The house, once listed at $2.35 million, sold for slightly more than $1.7 million, sources say.

Carole Isenberg, associate producer of “The Color Purple” (1985), was executive producer of the Emmy-winning miniseries “The Women of Brewster Place” (1989), the TV special “Back to School ‘92” and the film “This Is My Life” (1992).

She is also co-founder of Education First!, which works with entertainment industry personalities to increase public awareness about the importance of education. Jerry Isenberg is chairman of the Caucus for Producers, Writers and Directors.

The Isenbergs, who are moving to their smaller home in Montecito, sold their Beverly Hills house because their sons are grown and moved. The Beverly Hills house has six bedrooms, maid’s quarters, a gym and screening room in nearly 6,000 square feet. There is also a guest house, which the buyers plan to use as a music studio.

Jackie DeShannon’s hits include “What the World Needs Now” (1965), “Put a Little Love in Your Heart,” which she co-wrote in ‘69, and “Bette Davis Eyes,” which she co-wrote in ’75. Edelman composed music for such films as “Last of the Mohicans,” “Twins,” “My Cousin Vinny,” “Angels in the Outfield” and “Gettysburg.”

Paul Thompson of Fred Sands’ Beverly Hills office represented both sides in the deal.

Warwick moved out of the house several months ago. It was sold by a bank.

Warwick, who released her 13th album for Arista Records in October with a collection of Brazilian songs, has said she plans to keep homes in Brazil and Beverly Hills. She was drawn to Brazil, she has said, because it is a place where people of African descent are honored.
