Not Much in the Way of Jobs: Sluggish employment growth will continue in 1995 as only 3,000 new non-farm jobs are expected in a county with an employment base of more than 230,000 people. However, the jobless rate will decline for the second straight year, to 7.9% from 8.2%. Personal income is expected to rise by about $1 billion to $17.2 billion, while retail sales are expected to increase by $200 million to $4.3 billion. Only 200 new housing requests are expected, bringing the total to 2,500.
