FOUNTAIN VALLEY : Council Seeks People for Municipal Panels

The City Council is seeking residents who are willing to serve on a number of advisory committees and commissions.
Volunteers are needed to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Disabled; Alcohol and Drug Awareness Committee; Community Services Commission; Disaster Preparedness Advisory Committee; Environmental Education Team; Housing and Community Development Advisory Board; Planning Commission, and Traffic Committee.
The deadline to apply is Jan. 9. Those interested may pick up applications in the city clerk’s office, 10200 Slater Ave.
The commissions and committees are intended to provide the council with a cross-section of the community’s voice and advise city leaders on relevant issues.
