Saba Petroleum Co.: The firm said Tuesday that it has acquired a Canadian oil and gas producer, Capco Resources Properties Ltd.

The Irvine oil and gas producer refused to disclose the terms of the sale except that it was a stock swap transaction.

The acquisition of Capco’s production fields in Calgary will increase Saba’s current annual oil and gas production by about 19%, the company said.
