Gregory McWilliams has been named president of home builder Kaufman & Broad’s Antelope Valley division.

McWilliams has been with Los Angeles-based Kaufman & Broad for nine years, most recently as area manager for the company’s Santa Rosa regional office. He replaces Jeffrey Mezger, who has been named president of Kaufman & Broad’s Arizona division.

* Gary N. Lindgren has been named executive vice president and chief credit administrator at TransWorld Bank, a Sherman Oaks-based bank with 10 offices in the San Fernando, Conejo and Santa Clarita valleys.

Lindgren was previously executive vice president of First State Bank of the Oaks, based in the Conejo Valley. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Redlands and received a degree from the graduate school of credit and financial management at Williams College in Massachusetts.

* James Wood was named vice president of research and development at Cosmetic Group USA Inc. Previously, Wood was vice president of research and development at Merle Norman Cosmetics Inc.

Cosmetic Group USA is a Sun Valley-based cosmetics manufacturer.

* Brian Farrell was named president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board of T-HQ Inc. Previously, Farrell was chief operating officer and executive vice president of T-HQ. He first joined the company in 1991 as chief financial officer. Prior to that, Farrell was chief financial officer of Hotel Investors Trust.

He replaces Jack Friedman who resigned to pursue other business interests. Friedman will continue to act as a consultant to T-HQ.

* Kathryn Falberg has been named corporate treasurer at Amgen Inc., the Thousand Oaks biotechnology concern.

Most recently, Falberg was vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at Applied Magnetics Corp., a Goleta computer components manufacturer.
