Campbell Soup Consolidates Agencies: The No. 1 maker of canned soups said it has consolidated its media planning, buying and research operations--which had been handled by six agencies--with a unit of True North Communications, formerly Foote, Cone & Belding Communications. Billings exceed $120 million a year. Other firms have taken steps toward more efficient use of advertising dollars. Anheuser-Busch, for example, recently consolidated creative work for its Budweiser beer account with DDB Needham.
