Police searching for a convicted killer who escaped from a Florida prison have tripled the bounty for his capture to $30,000, officials said Monday.

Juan Fleitas, 30, is the last of the five criminals still on the loose. He was sentenced to life in prison for the 1985 murder of a man who surprised him during the burglary of a house in suburban Miami.

Four fellow escapees were found in the Miami area last week. The five had tunneled out of the Glades Correctional Institution near West Palm Beach on Jan. 2.
