CareLine Inc.: The Irvine-based firm said Monday it is consolidating its Southern California divisions, creating the largest private ambulance service in the region.

The new unit, CareLine California, will be based in Rancho Cucamonga. Its fleet of 150 ambulances will serve Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura counties.

CareLine operates private ambulance service in California, New England and the southeastern United States.
