Coast Savings Financial Inc., the Los Angeles-based holding company of Coast Federal Bank, reported a fourth-quarter loss of $4 million, or 22 cents per share, contrasted with net earnings of $3.7 million, or 20 cents per fully diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 1993.
For the year ended Dec. 31, Coast Federal lost $6.5 million, or 35 cents per share, contrasted with earnings of $17.2 million, or 94 cents per share, in 1993.
