Toyota Boosts Prices: Stung by the higher yen, the auto maker said it is raising prices on selected 1995 cars and trucks by as much as $1,980. Toyota Motor Corp. said the increases, effective Monday, cover eight models, including the Camry, Corolla and the Land Cruiser sport utility vehicle. The average increase is $163, about 1%. However, on some models the price hikes are much larger. For example, prices on Camry cars will jump as much as $270, while Supra prices will climb as much as $900. The Land Cruiser price is rising almost $2,000, to $38,688. The smallest increase is on the Corolla sedan, up $120 to $12,498.
