DOUBLE SNAPS by James Percelay, Stephen Dweck & Monteria Ivey (Quill: $9.95; 176 pp., illustrated, paperback original). Tossing out “Snaps,” the one-line insults in this anthology, has become a popular game among young African-Americans. (“You’re so ugly, your parents rent out your baby videos for horror films.”) Collected from sources that range from Howard Stern and George Wallace to Black Flag and “In Living Color,” these put-downs are often old and raunchy. (“Your house is so small, when I rang the doorbell the toilet flushed.”) Many of them are also very funny.
