CAM Data Systems Inc.: The Fountain Valley inventory management, point of sale and accounting systems company posted a profit of $84,000, or 4 cents a share, for its first fiscal quarter. That was down 18% from earnings of $103,000, or 5 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. The company attributed the decline to the fact that it had used almost all of its net operating loss carry-forwards for federal income taxes over the past three profitable years. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 increased 16% to $3.7 million from $3.2 million.
