Volunteers Sought for Mobile Home Panel

Share

Volunteers are needed to serve on a commission that advises the City Council on issues relating to mobile home parks.

Two alternates and one regular member will fill vacancies on the Mobile Home Commission, a seven-member panel that conducts hearings and investigates disputes between mobile home park owners and residents.

There are about 5,000 residents in the city’s 18 mobile home parks, officials said.

The commission consists of two representatives from the mobile home residents, two from the mobile home park owners and three from the public. Each member has an alternate. The vacant positions are one regular member and an alternate member from the residents and an alternate member representing the park owners.
