Rykoff-Sexton to Acquire Continental Foods: Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Baltimore-based Continental Foods Inc., a privately held company, had sales of about $100 million last year, serving the industry in Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, northern Virginia, southern Pennsylvania and eastern West Virginia. Rykoff-Sexton Inc. is a nationwide distributor and manufacturer of food and related products for restaurants and institutions. Manufacturing, processing and packaging operations are based in Los Angeles; Indianapolis; Englewood, N.J., and Brooklyn, N.Y.
