AmeriQuest Announces $4.9-Million Loss for Quarter Ended Dec. 30

AmeriQuest Technologies Inc., an Irvine computer products distributor, said it lost $4.9 million, or 25 cents a share, in its second quarter ended Dec. 30. That compares with a net loss of $5 million, or $1.07 a share, for the comparable period a year earlier. Revenue rose to $123.5 million from $20.3 million. For the six-month period, the company reported a net loss of $6 million, or 39 cents a share, compared with a loss of $4.9 million, or $1.24 per share, for the first half of the previous fiscal year. Revenue for the company, which had several acquisitions last year, increased to $173 million from $39.8 million.
