Kayak Tours--Take a water-level tour of Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve with a naturalist today at 10 a.m.

The naturalist will guide the group through the reserve, pointing out wildlife and habitats.

Birdland--Guided public tours of the Bolsa Chica wetlands will take place Saturday morning. The tours, sponsored by Amigos de Bolsa Chica, will depart every 20 minutes beginning at 9 a.m. The last tour will depart at 10:30 a.m.

Those who would like to take a tour are asked to meet at the wetlands on Pacific Coast Highway about one-half of a mile south of Warner Avenue, across from Bolsa Chica State Beach.

Bay Watch--A guided tour of the Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve will be offered Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m.

The tour is free and lasts about 2 1/2 hours. Tours depart every 15 minutes until 10:15 a.m.

Those who would like to participate are asked to meet at Eastbluff and Backbay drives.

Moon Walk--Explore Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve under a new moon.

The cost is $13 for adults. Children are free but must be accompanied by an adult. The program is limited to 20 participants.
