SIMI VALLEY : Deadline Nears for Youth Leader Awards
Applications for the 1995 Youth Leadership Awards are available at Simi Valley’s three high schools.
Seniors at Apollo, Royal and Simi Valley high schools interested in applying should speak to their counselors before the March 13 filing deadline.
The program honors students who have excelled in the areas of scholastic integrity, physical fitness, cultural awareness and community service.
This year’s first-place winner will receive a $3,000 scholarship. A $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to the second-place winner, and a $1,000 scholarship will be granted for third place.
