Ford Doubles Rebates on Minivans: The Dearborn, Mich.-based auto maker is offering as much as $1,750 to get owners of Chrysler Corp. minivans to switch to its minivans by May 2. Ford Motor Co.’s offer, called the “Chrysler Conquest” rebate, includes $750 for current Chrysler minivan owners, in addition to a $1,000 rebate for anyone who buys or leases a Ford Windstar, Ford Aerostar or Mercury Villager. The Windstar and Villager previously came with $500 discounts for those who leased the models.
