Greystone Banks on 436 Units: Greystone Homes of Newport Beach said it will build 436 homes in five communities in Coto de Caza, Huntington Beach and Buena Park.

Greystone has purchased two parcels in Coto, an upscale, gated community in south Orange County, and is now in escrow on sites in Huntington Beach and Buena Park, said Larry Webb, president of Greystone Homes’ South Coast division.

“We’ve been very sensitive to the needs of today’s families in our choice of sites and in the style and size of the homes we build,” Webb said.

Greystone said it will build both condominiums and single-family homes in Coto, with sales expected to start in early summer.

In Huntington Beach, Greystone plans to build a gated community of 69 homes called Greystone Landing.

In Buena Park, the company is purchasing 32 acres that is a former site of a Pacific Theaters drive-in. Plans call for 224 homes to be built there.
