Police were searching for three men who entered a house, tied up seven members of a family, then escaped with an undetermined amount of valuables, police said.

The home-invasion robbery occurred about 7:45 p.m. Monday in the 8000 block of Kiner Avenue, Police Lt. Dan Johnson said.

No one was injured, Johnson said.

The robbers, two of whom were armed with handguns, entered the house through a closed but unlocked, rear sliding-glass door, Johnson said.

One of the men grabbed a knife from the kitchen, as he and the others rounded up family members and bound them with duct tape. The victims included a 5-year-old girl and her grandparents.

The robbers ransacked the house for about an hour, then left with an undetermined amount of cash, jewelry, a computer and a camera, Johnson said.

No one has been arrested in the incident, Johnson said.
