Toshiba America Information Systems Inc.: The Irvine company said Friday that it cut the suggested retail price of its T4900CT mobile Pentium model notebook computer to $6,499 from $7,499. Last month, it reduced prices as much as 22% on some of its other products. In recent weeks, other computer makers, including Compaq Computer Corp., Dell Computer Corp., Apple Computer Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Co., have announced price reductions on portable and desktop personal computers.
