L.A. Shanti to Pay Tribute to Layton

The third annual L.A. Shanti Tribute, April 6 at 8 p.m. at the Wiltern Theater, will honor the late Emmy- and Tony-winning director and choreographer Joe Layton, who died of AIDS complications in May, 1994.
Performers will include Bette Midler, Lauren Bacall, Kenny Rogers, Ann-Margret, Melissa Etheridge and others.
