Technology for Disabled Workers: Using technology to improve access to jobs and services for people with disabilities is the subject of the 10th annual Technology and Persons With Disabilities Conference sponsored by Cal State Northridge. The four-day conference, which is geared toward employers as well as disabled workers, begins Tuesday at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott and the Los Angeles Airport Hilton. More than 2,000 people are expected to attend, including 200 exhibitors of new technologies. This year’s conference will highlight the information superhighway and its implications for people with disabilities. The keynote speaker is Deborah Kaplan, a member of the National Information Infrastructure Task Force. Tickets are available at the door. For more information, call (818) 885-2578.
