The government’s key informant in the “terror trial” of a radical Muslim cleric and his followers charged with plotting to bomb New York landmarks said Monday that the group also planned to build 12 bombs targeting the Jewish community.

During a tense day of testimony by Emad Ali Salem, a Muslim spectator in the back of the courtroom interrupted proceedings by standing and yelling at the informant as he identified a gun he said was given to him as part of the scheme.

“This man is a liar . . . Allah will deal with you!” the man screamed as federal marshals escorted him from the courtroom.

Marshals identified the man as Mustafa Muhammad, who uses the alias Mustafa Assad. Salem had testified earlier in the day that a Mustafa Assad was one of the men who allegedly was going to help him build bombs.

Prosecutors allege that Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman and 10 others conspired to wage a “war of urban terrorism” in the United States.

They are charged with plotting to bomb the United Nations building, the Lincoln and Holland tunnels and FBI headquarters in Manhattan.

They are also accused of plotting the 1990 murder of radical Rabbi Meir Kahane and planning to assassinate Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak during a U.S. visit.
