Microsoft Hearing Delayed: U.S. District Judge Stanley Sporkin granted a government request to delay a scheduled hearing in the Microsoft Corp. antitrust case but not before issuing a lengthy 12-page re-explanation of his reasons for rejecting a proposed antitrust settlement between the computer software giant and the U.S. Department of Justice. Lawyers for Microsoft and the Justice Department are set to go before the U.S. Court of Appeals next month to appeal Judge Sporkin’s ruling. Oral arguments in the case are scheduled for April 24.
