BRIEFLY : Awards: Loyola Brochure Honored

A recruiting brochure produced by the admissions office at Westchester’s Loyola Marymount University was recognized as a Gold Award winner in a nationwide competition.

“LMU has provided an exceptional contribution to the field,” according to the judges who chose LMU’s effort as the best in the category of colleges with 2,000 to 5,000 undergraduate students.

“The publication’s effectiveness is one of the reasons the university has received the largest number of applications for admission in the history of LMU,” said Joseph Merante, associate vice president of the college. At present, the number of freshman applications has increased 17% over the same time last year.
