Republican Strategy

Would the Republicans have won their majority if they were more honest during their campaigns, saying they would:

-- be against a ban on lobbyists’ gifts to them,

-- gut the federal school lunch program that ensures uniformity to children in various states,

-- and cut out federal housing aid for the homeless?

I don’t think so. Americans can get lean without getting mean.
