PICO-UNION : Free Eye Exams at St. Thomas Church

Free eye examinations, including screenings for glaucoma, cataracts and visual acuity, will be offered Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.

The screenings, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., are sponsored by the Latin American Lions Club of Los Angeles as part of its “Sight First” blindness prevention program.

Participants who need further care will receive free pamphlets listing places where they can receive treatment at little or no cost.
