NHL ROUNDUP : Nordiques Win in Overtime

Right wing Owen Nolan scored on a wrist shot from the left faceoff circle at 2:33 of overtime, lifting the Nordiques to a 5-4 victory over the Florida Panthers on Monday night at Quebec, Canada.
The victory moved Quebec one point ahead of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL’s overall standings.

Eric Lindros had his third hat trick of the season and his second in a row in the Flyers’ 8-4 victory over the Montreal Canadiens at Philadelphia. . . . Dimitri Khristich had two goals and Jim Carey made 30 saves as the Washington Capitals beat the Whalers, 5-0, at Hartford. . . .
