AND ONE MORE THING: A hot item at local record stores is the new independent single “You Look Like a Movie Star, Honey,” by the band Extra Fancy--and not just because of the music but also the cover. It’s an illustration of John Travolta in his famous “Saturday Night Fever” disco pose, but without the trademark white suit . . . or anything else for that matter.

The drawing came from a 1978 issue of the porn magazine Skin. Band publicist Paul V. reports that posters featuring the picture were stolen by kids as fast as he could put them up around Austin during the recent South by Southwest music convention. No word from Travolta on his thoughts about it, but he can see the band itself Thursday at Spaceland in Silver Lake.*
