Bowlin to Succeed Cook at Arco: Atlantic Richfield Co. Chief Executive Mike R. Bowlin will succeed Lodwrick M. Cook as chairman of the Los Angeles-based oil company on July 1, completing a transition of power. Cook, who turns 67 in June, has spent 39 years at Arco and been chairman since 1986.
