Alpha Microsystems: The Santa Ana company said Tuesday that it has sold its Pick64 software product line to Sequoia Systems in Marlborough, Mass., and has agreed to divest its Veterinary Systems Operation to Veterinary Centers of America in Santa Monica, that operation’s largest customer. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. The company said there will be a positive cash and earnings impact on the company’s first quarter, ending May 28. According to Alpha Micro, the actions reflect a continuation of the company’s strategy to concentrate on selected markets and to improve the performance of its service operations.
