OAK PARK : 3 Hurt When Patrol Car Hits Another Vehicle
A Ventura County sheriff’s patrol car struck a vehicle carrying a Thousand Oaks couple and their 5-year-old daughter, causing minor injuries to a deputy and the couple, authorities said Saturday.
James Biller, 47, was turning onto Lindero Canyon Road out of the Oak Park shopping center when Deputy Joseph Galante, 34, traveling north struck Biller’s car shortly after 6 p.m. Friday, sheriff’s deputies said.
Galante was treated for minor injuries at Los Robles Regional Medical Center and released. Biller and his wife, Diane, 32, were treated at Westlake Medical Center for minor injuries and released, the Sheriff’s Department said. Their daughter was not injured.
