HEALTH : City of Hope to Open Outpatient Center
City of Hope National Medical Center will double its outpatient capacity with the opening of the Geri and Richard Brawerman Outpatient Center on Sunday at 3 p.m.
With the new center, the hospital will handle 200,000 outpatients a year who have leukemia, other forms of cancer, diabetes or HIV and AIDS. The center will include 80 examination rooms, a multistory atrium and a pharmacy.
