SIMI VALLEY : Senior Center to Host Arts and Crafts Fair
Arts, crafts and pancakes can be had at bargain prices this weekend at the Simi Valley Senior Center.
The center’s Spring Arts and Crafts Fair will run Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free, and items for sale will include porcelain dolls, jewelry, ceramics and toys.
On Saturday, the Simi Valley Council on Aging and the Rancho Simi Rotary Club are sponsoring an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast.
Proceeds will benefit the Meals on Wheels program, which provides meals to homebound senior citizens and disabled residents. The breakfast runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and admission is $3.
Both events will be held at the senior center at 3900 Avenida Simi.
