LOS ANGELES : Man Accused of Molesting 2 Girls at Housing Project
A 17-count criminal complaint was filed Wednesday against a man accused of repeatedly molesting 8- and 11-year-old girls when they visited his apartment last summer in a Los Angeles housing project.
Manuel Nejera Flores faces 11 counts of child molestation and two counts each of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, exhibiting harmful matter to a person under 18, and exhibiting harmful matter to a person under 18 for the purpose of seduction.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Flores, 49, said Deputy City Atty. Deborah Sanchez.
The two alleged victims visited Flores in the William Meade housing project, where all three lived, she said.
Flores allegedly took his clothes off on one occasion and tried to kiss the 8-year-old and take off her clothes, the prosecutor said. He also allegedly showed her anatomically correct male and female dolls, which he used to demonstrate sexual intercourse.
