An American Eagle turboprop plane landed safely on its two back wheels after the front landing gear became stuck during flight.

None of the 21 passengers or three crew members was injured Thursday when the flight from New York City landed at Greater Rochester International Airport, officials said.

As the Saab 340 twin-engine plane was coming to a stop, it tipped forward and hit its nose on the ground.
