On behalf of myself and the more than 60 consultant members of Sci-Med Consulting Group, the entertainment industry’s only centralized source for scientific and medical expertise, I’d like to express gratitude for your having published an informative article highlighting our endeavors (“Future Doc,” by Judy Raphael, Palm Latitudes, March 5).
There were a couple of inaccuracies, however. First, the genetically engineered giant rat was for a feature script by writer Bobby Crawford and not for “Babylon 5.” Also, the 24th-Century organ replacement concept was for “Star Trek: Deep Space 9,” not for “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”
