TERROR IN OKLAHOMA CITY : Local Hero
Ex-Oklahoma Troy Aikman has donated $10,000 to help victims of the deadly bombing at the Oklahoma City federal building. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback, who grew up in Henryetta, about 80 miles to the east, gave the money to the local chapter of Feed the Children. “He was one of the first to donate,” said George Mamo, a charity administrator. “He wanted Oklahomans to know his thoughts and prayers were with them.”
