After an abbreviated spring training caused by the lengthy baseball strike, the Angels start the 1995 season Tuesday night against the Detroit Tigers. Here’s a look at several aspects of the team. The probable starting lineup for opening night, including 1994 season results:

Angel Managers

Marcel Lachemann starts his first full season as manager. He became the team’s 15th manager when he replaced Buck Rodgers last May. The first skipper, Bill Rigney, lasted longest. New Voice

Mario Impemba joins the Angels’ broadcast team, replacing Bill Sample, whose contract was not renewed. Impemba, 31, spent the last four seasons with triple-A Tucson. He also has experience in the Angels’ minor-league system, having been the play-by-play announcer for the Quad City Angels from 1989-91. Impemba will team with veteran broadcaster Bob Starr.

Aging Big A

This is the 30th season of baseball at Anaheim Stadium. The Angels lost their first game there, an exhibition against the San Francisco Giants, 9-3. How Anaheim Stadium compares in age to other American League parks:

Local television and radio: KTLA (Channel 5) is set to televise 50 games. KTLA, which also televises the Dodgers, will show one team or the other nearly every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the season. All Angel games on KMPC 710 AM radio.

Cable: Prime Sports scheduled to broadcast 26 Angel games.
